'Theo helped my son with his ESAT preparation through August and September. His lessons were well organised and he was patient and flexible when we had some IT problems at our end. He prepared good practice materials for my son to work on between lessons and then used the lesson to give him feedback and tips with the aim of helping my son improve his speed and efficiency in tackling the questions. This was something my son was aware would be one of the challenges in the real test and hence wanted to work on. Theo also gave me some feedback on how my son was doing after the lessons. Theo’s tutoring and homework gave my son added motivation in his ESAT preparation.
When my son sat the exam, he was quite happy with his ability to tackle the questions at the pace required in the exam so is waiting hopefully for the result. 'Theo has tutored my daughter for 12 months in the run up to GCSEs. Isabella was a reluctant learner, both unsure and nervous about having tuition. We had a trial session with Theo on the proviso that she would not continue unless she chose to do so - which she duly did. Theo instantly made Isabella feel comfortable and was the springboard to her finding her confidence in learning. She reflected his personal love of the subjects and his encouragement that she too could learn and progress, which she has done in leaps and bounds.
